4TH ANNUAL FUNDRAISER RESULTS!!

What an amazing night!!  Our 4th Annual Poker Tournament and Silent Auction raised and AMAZING $17,796.91!!  THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who came out and supported us, donated and came out and had a great night!  Our winners of the poker tournament were:

This is the confirmed menu for the "A Life for Lexx Foundation" fundraiser. All meals are packaged by Feed The Freezer staff and will be delivered on November 12 & 13. 

For each meal sold $8.00 will be going to A Life for Lexx Foundation and their efforts to contribute to the search for a cure for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (the #1 genetic killer of children under 2 years of age).

Order Cut-off for this session is November 6th. Meals will be delivered November 12 & 13.

this meal. This is a rich shrimp meal that is really best enjoyed with a nice

We take the hassle out of preparing delicious meals for your family.  At our sessions you will find up to 10 tables setup like assembly stations. At each station you will find freezer bags (labelled and marked with cooking instructions) and all of the ingredients necessary for a specific recipe ready to be measured and dished directly into your freezer bag. Each station will take you only 5-10 minutes, a far cry from the time it would take you to shop, cut, mix and clean at home.  

*If you don't have time to go and assemble your meals yourself, Wendy and her staff will assemble them for you and deliver them right to your door!

SILENT AUCTION ITEM: FIREFIGHTER FOR A DAY!!

Again this year The Red Deer Firefighter's Children's Charity is donating another FireOps Package.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience what our firefighters go through to keep us safe.  They will tailor the package for a full day of what you want to do such as:

Putting out live fires in the burntower:

Use the Jaws of Life and cut apart some cars with their rescue equipment:

Ride up 132 Feet up in the Ariel Truck:

They will light a car (or two) on fire for you to put out:

and you can also challenge their NRAT physical test if you want!

The firefighters have been an amazing support to our foundation and of course to Lexx.  We actually met Kyle (Lexx's personal firefighter as we call him) on a transport when Lexx needed a critical ride to the Calgary Children's Hospital.  He's the one that organizes this whole Firefighter for a Day.  Thanks Kyle!
